Metal Building Insulation

Standard metal building insulation is made up of standard batt insulation laminated on a vapour barrier to form “blanket insulation”. This type of insulation can be used in either unheated buildings as condensation and moisture protection or in fully heated buildings. In either unheated or heated buildings, metal building insulation (MBI) can:

a. provide condensation control on the exterior cladding

b. noise control from the wind on the metal cladding

c. improved light reflectance

d. improved interior appearance.
