Victoria Shipyards Hanger

This steel hanger building was built for the maintenance of marine vehicles. It is 70’ wide x 275’ long x 80’ high. The building includes a full length bridge crane, various service platforms and walkways, and mezzanines. The open ocean is only short distance away so the primary pre-engineered steel structure was hot dip galvanized to protect it from the high salt water environment. The roof structure includes support for various large mechanical systems and a large 15’x30’ sliding hatch for ship maintenance requirements.
