Westran Warehouse

A 153,000 Sq. Ft. (290′-0″W x 527′-0″L x 34′-0″H) pre-engineered steel building.

This pre-engineered steel building is constructed for Westran Intermodal’s expansion to load Canfor dimension lumber into containers for shipping overseas.  JDG has constructed 10 buildings for Westran at 3 separate sites.

JDG Construction Management Ltd. was the Prime Contractor leading the design-build team.  JDG’s work included for full turnkey design from a greenfield site to construct this transit warehouse and including a separate 1,500 Sq. Ft. office facility and 2 loading sheds.

The site included for 10.3 acres of below grade services including in excess of 3 miles of communication wiring and pavement.
