JDG receives two “Star” Building awards
Amidst the glittering lights of Las Vegas, Nevada, JDG Construction was honoured with two prestigious awards at the Star Builder’s conference in April.
The event, hosted by Star Building Systems, invited representatives from the top Star Building companies across North America to gather at the chic Cosmopolitan hotel and celebrate the work of their colleagues.
JDG Construction, the Vancouver steel building experts, were recognized for their impeccable work in the metal construction industry with the distinguished Outstanding Builder Award, highlighting their achievements in market share and sales volume for 2012.
The Vancouver-based builders were also awarded the Million Dollar Award for their sales volume which reached above $1 million for the 2012 year.
But the three-day conference wasn’t just about recognizing excellence in the steel metal building industry, it also offered numerous learning opportunities and chances to share knowledge.
Guests learned about upcoming advancements in the industry and heard from Said Moussa, Star Builder from Djibouti, who spoke about opportunities in Africa. Star Builder conference-goers also had the option to attend a series of presentations on topics such as insulation and energy codes, insulated metal panels, roof installation and warranties, magnetic digital marketing, and more.
JDG Construction has been an authorized Star Builder since 2009 and has been building their expertise in the metal building construction industry since 1985. Over their long history, they’ve been repeatedly recognized for their superior steel metal building skills. Most recently, JDG was awarded the coveted Shipyards Modernization project contract for the Vancouver Shipyards and was also praised with a feature story in Business in Focus magazine.
